Is client data private?
Yes. No client data is shared with third-party marketing platforms. Video streams are encrypted in transit. Chat history is stored server-side and is only accessible to participants in your room. Data export and erasure are available under GDPR at any time.
Can I record sessions for my clients?
Yes. Local recording is available on all professional tiers. The recording is saved to your device — it's not stored on our servers or accessible to anyone else. You can then share it with your client however you normally share files.
Is Nexus suitable for therapy sessions in the UK?
Nexus provides encryption in transit, private rooms with waiting room admission, and no third-party data sharing. Many therapists use it for online sessions. However, we're a video platform — you should assess suitability against your professional body's guidelines and your own clinical judgement.
Can I get an invoice for my business?
Yes. All billing is handled through Stripe, which generates invoices automatically. You can access your billing portal at any time to download invoices for your records or expenses.
What does "dedicated server" mean?
Professional tiers run on a virtual server provisioned exclusively for your room. Your video and audio traffic doesn't share resources with other customers. This means consistent performance regardless of what's happening on the rest of the platform.
Can my clients join without creating an account?
